Recently I have found the need to just go ahead and get a decent scan tool I have to borrow a frinds to do crank relearns vortec timing adjustments etc etc. Ive used some snap on models but that is a more shop oriented tool .
Will the maxidas be pretty good for a starter machine I rarely work on anything past 2010.
Or should I look more into the newer models?

     Discontinued Products
    MaxiDAS DS708
    Maxivideo MV101
    Maxivideo MV201
    Maxivideo MV301
    PowerScan PS100
    MaxiSys Mini
    maxscan vag405

Best choice for the price is the
AUTEL MaxiSYS MS906 - Updated version of Autel DS708‎

Or the MaxiSys MS906TS with enhanced wireless connectivity between the display tablet and VCI device allows greater mobility.  A little more expensive then the MaxiSys MS906.
